Noosa Enduro returns after a decade

After a ten-year hiatus the iconic Noosa Enduro is back and ready for its biggest year yet!

Originally the brainchild of USM’s Geoff Myer and local resident Scott Wooodward, Garth Prowd the owner of USM Events championed the project and an iconic event was born. Garth, Godfather of Australian triathlon, pioneer for Australian sport and a passionate athlete advocate, billed it as a marathon mountain bike event for elite competitors the Noosa Enduro attracted some of the best riders from around the world.

Garth tragically passed away three years ago and since then son-in-law’s, ProcuSports founders and former professional cyclists Matt Wilson and Ben Kersten have looked for ways to continue his legacy.

Discovery of some archived coverage of the original Noosa Enduro coincided with 2020’s COVID-19 lockdown and an idea was born.

While the original event was a new novelty form of mountain bike event before the gravel bike was widely accepted, it seems the event was simply before it’s time!

Now in 2021 Garth’s original vision and legacy will continue with the event being spear headed by Matt, Ben and the ProcuSport team.

With over 30 years experience in all facets of cycling and event management you can expect this year’s Noosa Enduro to be one epic event!
